El disco de Zayn Malik llegará el 17 de mayo -'Room Under The Stairs'-, pero ahora ha compartido el primer sencillo de la nueva era. 'What I Am' trata un romance desde la dualidad personal y el dolor al pensar en esa persona a la que quieres.
El mensaje conciso de Zayn en redes para celebrar el nuevo 'single': "Esta canción es el primer lanzamiento de un proyecto especial en el que llevo trabajando muchos años".

Zayn habla sobre Harry Styles
Para promocionar su nuevo sencillo acudió al programa de Sean Evans, 'Hot Wings'. En este episodio, Zayn se acordaba de sus momentos en One Direction, en concreto de una escena con Harry Styles.
"Fue genial porque me hizo quedar como un héroe. Estábamos en el escenario y Harry estaba al lado de una pirotecnia y estaba a punto de encenderse porque estaban con temporizador. Él tenía una toalla en la cabeza y estaba justo encima de un cañón que no había visto".
Esto sucedió en 2013 y cada fan de One Direction recuerda este momento de tensión. "Se me puede ver corriendo de un lado a otro para empujarle lejos de la pirotecnia".
