Todos los premios son importantes para todos y cada uno de los artistas. Y, de este que hablamos, supone además un hito tan sorprendente como inusual.

Se trata de recoger un hecho histórico porque 'Sunflower' a pasado a convertirse en la canción con la certificación más alta en la historia de la RIAA, la Recording Industry Association of America, que reúne a las discográficas más importantes de EEUU y que supervisa y cerfitica las ventas de música en el país.

Así, en conjunto, Post Malone y Swae Lee han recorido nada menos que 17 discos de platino.

Esa canción se estrenaba en 2018 y ahora bate un récord que tenía la canción 'Old Town Road' de Lil Nas X y Billy Ray Cyrus que había logrado reunir 15 discos de platino certificados por RIAA.

Volviendo a 'Sunflower' fue estrenada como sencillo de la BSO de la película animada de 2018 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' y está incluido en el tercer álbum de estudio de Post Malone, 'Hollywood's Bleeding' (2019). Además, esta canción, se convertía en la tercera de Post Malone y la primera de Swae Lee en llegar al #1 de la prestigiosa lista Billboard Hot 100.
