Doja Cat será la encargada de presentar los MTV Video Music Awards 2021

Con el verano pasando en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, son varios los premios y galas que hay a la vuelta de la esquina. La Gala Met (el 13 de septiembre), los Billboard Latin Music Awards (el 24 de septiembre) o los MTV Video Music Awards. Estos últimos premios van a tener lugar el próximo 12 de septiembre en el Barclays Center de Brooklyn de Nueva York.
Poco a poco, se conocen más detalles sobre este evento. Es Justin Bieber el que lidera las nominaciones a estos premios con siete candidaturas. Le sigue por detrás la rapera Megan Thee Stallion, que tiene seis. Otros artistas que han entrado en la lista de posibles premiados son Billie Eilish, BTS, Doja Cat, Drake, Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo, The Kid LAROI o 24kGoldn.
Además, ya se sabe quiénes van a ser aquellos cantantes que se van a subir al escenario de los MTV para cantar sus temazos. Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Lil Nas X, Twenty One Pilots, Olivia Rodrigo, Lorde o MachineGunKelly serán los encargados de poner color a la gala a ritmo de sus nuevas canciones.
Por otra parte, ya se sabe quién va a ser la persona responsable de dirigir los VMAS 2021. Será la cantante Doja Cat, la que va a presentar este evento. Además, estás nominada en algunas categorías y es posible que se haga con algún premio. La artista está nominada en categorías como Mejor artista del año o Mejor colaboración por su tema junto a SZA, Kiss Me More. Todo un temazo que está dentro de su nuevo álbum Planet Her, que salió a la venta el 25 de junio.
