One Direction supera los 1.000 millones de visualizaciones en el vídeo musical de 'Story of My Life'

El club mil millonario tiene nuevo integrante. En esta ocasión hablamos de una banda añorada por legión de seguidores. El vídeo musical comienza con Louis Tomlinson revelando una foto con el título "Story of My life: One Direction". Luego arranca la música y sus cinco componentes empiezan a interpretar las estrofas mientras se visualizan fotos de la infancia de cada uno de los integrantes de la banda con representaciones de las imágenes de cómo eran en ese momento.
'Story of My Life', imparable año tras año
Con esta canción miramos a aquella banda de pop británica-irlandesa que se formó gracias al programa televisivo The X Factor y fue apadrinada por Simon Cowell. Aunque quedaron terceros en el concurso, Cowell quería dar con ellos el salto a la fama así que les produjo un disco con Syco Music.
'What Makes You Beautiful', su primer sencillo, se publicó en 'y consiguió primeros puestos en las listas de Irlanda y Reino Unido. Pero el gran éxito lo consiguieron tras lanzar 'Up All Night', un disco que convirtió a One Direction en el primer grupo británico que alcanzaba el número uno del Billboard 200. También llegó a lo alto de esta lista su disco 'Take Me Home'.
En 2013 lanzaron el álbum Midnight Memories que se convirtió en el disco más vendido del año. De aquí salieron canciones que triunfaron en todo el mundo como 'Best Song Ever', 'Story Of My Life', 'Midnight Memories' y 'You and I. De hecho, su gira de 2015 Where We Are Tour se convirtió en una de las más exitosas de la historia.
En medio de la gira, y de la grabación de su quinto disco 'Four', Zayn Malik anunció su retirada del grupo y esta decisión no fue muy bien llevada por el resto. Después de la salida de Malik, la banda tuvo éxito con el single Pillowtalk.
Desde 2016, parece que One Direction se ha separado por completo para impulsar las carreras en solitario. Sin embargo, han seguido ganando premios como en 2017 que recibieron uno en los Premios Brit. En febrero de 2018, se informó que el grupo había cerrado su empresa de giras después de solicitar la eliminación en el registro de Companies House en octubre de 2017.
Con todo, los seguidores siguen mirando hacia aquel verdadero fenómeno musical como demuestra este logro que está al alcance de pocos.
